Meeting the criteria for accreditation is generally described in a policy document of the accrediting institution (FIBAA, NVAO, QAA, etc) for each programme, coupled with an assessment of the institution and reflected in a Self-Assessment report, which is the hand guide to an accreditation process, and the document on which accreditation panels and authorities make their judgment of a particular programme or institution. The accreditation panel produces a report which describes if an institution has met or not met the accreditation assessment criteria.
The joint MSc Degree Programmes are Validated by the University of Brighton, under its own accreditation system. The UK QAA carries out University institution accreditation in the UK for the government.
