Although the main focus of our Summer School is to provide you with deeper knowledge of certain subjects through intensive learning and to help you to improve your academic and English skills, the two weeks’ schedule also allows plenty of time for exploring the Netherlands.
Wittenborg’s Summer School is offered to you as a full package. You will stay in our brand-new studios right next to your study location in Apeldoorn, with your own kitchen and bathroom. Daily breakfast, lunch and refreshments, as well as all study materials and three social activities (welcome drinks, an excursion and a farewell dinner at a restaurant) are also included in the package. Of course, you are free to travel and explore the city and country outside your classes and social activities.
Our Summer School has two intakes, each with different topics. Intake 1 (July 16 - July 28, 2023) will be dedicated to Intercultural Communications & Leadership and Intake 2 (July 30 - August 11, 2023) will be dedicated to Digital Marketing & Communications. Various subjects will be covered each day. You will also work in groups and improve skills such as discussion, debating, presenting and so on. Classes take place from Monday to Friday from 09:00 to 14:00, with short coffee breaks and a lunch break in between.
We are also happy to offer a one-time EUR 3,000 discount on our bachelor’s and master’s programmes to everyone who participates in the Summer School and later joins Wittenborg as a student.
Are you a university-level or high-school student with interest in the topics mentioned above? Then join our Summer School 2023 and experience what it feels like to be a Wittenborg student!
Each of the two intakes of our Summer School consists of different topics.
The first intake period, from July 16 to July 28, focuses on Intercultural Communications & Leadership. During those two weeks you will gain insight into impactful communication, intercultural communication, leadership strategies and styles, effective leadership communications & performance management, collaborations & network building, change management, effective decision making, and stakeholder involvement & management.
In the second intake period, from July 30 to August 11, the focus will be on Digital Marketing & Communications. In the course of these two weeks, you will learn about the digital economy, digital platforms, digital cultures, digital risks, digital consumer behaviour, brand communication, digital tools & techniques, digital marketing campaigns and ethical considerations in digital marketing through workshops, exercises, presentations and discussions.
Joining Wittenborg’s Summer School courses will not only allow you to prepare the knowledge and skills that will benefit your academic and professional career, but it will also be an unforgettable life experience, creating new friendships with fellow students from all over the world in one classroom.
