Wittenborg 35
In 2022, we are celebrating ‘Wittenborg 35’, with a student party and the (now) traditional Wittenborg Gala, to be held at the Apeldoorn municipal theatre, Orpheus, on the 11th November, 2022.
Wittenborg was established 35 years ago, on the 21st September, 1987, in the Hansiatic town of Deventer. We first celebrated 'Wittenborg 25' two years after having moved the 18 km to Apeldoorn in 2010, when the first Wittenborg Gala event was held. This was followed 5 years later with an even bigger event for 'Wittenborg 30', which was held at the City Hall in Apeldoorn (see video).
Goodbye Aventus, Hello Brinklaan
In 2022 we are saying goodbye to our Aventus location after 12 years of continuous growth. In July 2022, Wittenborg will be moving into the spacious and comfortable building it has purchased at Brinklaan 268 (read more here). The new administration and study location is connected by an overhead walkway to Wittenborg's existing student dorm, at De Ruyterstraat 3, where 40 students are currently living. Additionally, it is a stone’s throw from the new housing facilities that are being built on De Ruyterstraat, which will accommodate 75 students (read more here).
