Wittenborg’s Summer School in Apeldoorn combines academic learning, hands-on workshops, and cultural discovery — all within a friendly, international community.
Over two inspiring weeks, you’ll enhance your business, communication, leadership, and marketing skills, improve your English, and gain insights into topics such as intercultural communication, global leadership, AI, and digital innovation. With students joining from all over the world, it’s the perfect mix of learning, travel, and fun.
Outside the classroom, you’ll have plenty of time to experience Dutch life — from exploring charming cities and cycling through scenic landscapes to joining social events and cultural excursions.

Daily Schedule
Classes run from Monday to Friday, 09:00–14:00, with breaks in between. Each day combines lectures, interactive workshops, and skills training. You’ll practise teamwork, presentation, and problem-solving skills — all in a supportive, international classroom environment.
Your Stay in Apeldoorn
The Summer School is offered as a full package, including:
- Accommodation in modern, private studios with your own kitchen and bathroom
- Daily breakfast, lunch, and refreshments
- Study materials
- Social and cultural activities: Welcome drinks, an excursion, and a farewell dinner
In your free time, you’ll have plenty of opportunities to travel, explore Dutch cities, and enjoy summer life in the Netherlands!
Course Content
Three Exciting Courses to Choose From
In 2026, Wittenborg offers three unique two-week Summer School programmes, each blending academic learning, hands-on training, and cultural discovery:
Course 1: Intercultural Communication & Leadership
Explore how culture shapes the way we connect and lead. Develop communication and teamwork skills, enhance your English, and learn to navigate a global business environment.
Course 2: Marketing & Branding
Dive into the fast-paced world of digital marketing and personal branding. Learn how AI and social media are transforming the marketing landscape, and develop strategies to tell your story with impact.
Course 3: Global Leadership & AI & Digital Innovation
Discover how technology, creativity, and leadership come together in today’s digital age. Gain the confidence to lead across cultures and learn how AI is reshaping business, innovation, and decision-making.
Cultural & Social Experiences
Across all courses, students enjoy city tours, visits to museums, innovation hubs, and iconic sites, along with networking events and a farewell dinner. These experiences allow students to connect with peers, practice skills, and immerse themselves in Dutch culture while complementing the academic programme.
Entry Requirements
Wittenborg's Summer School welcomes university-level and high school students who are curious, open-minded, and eager to learn. Whether you’re looking to build global skills, boost your English, or experience studying in an international environment, Wittenborg Summer School 2026 is the perfect choice.
There are a number of documents that we need for your registration. All documents should be uploaded and submitted through the application form:
- a registration letter/matriculation letter from your current school/university
- a high school/university transcript showing a minimum English grade of 6.0
- a copy of your passport’s data page
- a self-introduction letter with a maximum of 300 words
- a parent consent form (which will be provided to you by Wittenborg, if you are under 18 years old)
Please note the registration deadline is 6-8 weeks prior to the start of the course for visa-required students and 4 weeks prior to the start for non-visa-required students. If you need a visa, then the application for a 90-day, short-stay Schengen visa should be done by yourself, through your nearest Dutch Embassy/Consulate. Wittenborg will provide you with the required enrolment letter.
