What is included in the Summer School package?
Wittenborg’s Summer School is designed as a full-package experience. Students stay in modern private studios next to the study location in Apeldoorn, each with a kitchen and bathroom. Daily breakfast, lunch, refreshments and all study materials are included, along with three organised social activities: welcome drinks, an excursion and a farewell dinner. Outside class hours and organised activities, students are free to explore Apeldoorn and travel within the Netherlands.
What are the dates and themes of the programmes?
The Summer School offers two separate two-week programmes:
Programme 1 (13 – 25 July 2025): Intercultural Communications & Leadership
Programme 2 (27 July – 8 August 2025): Marketing & Personal Branding
Each programme runs Monday to Friday, with classes from 09:00 to 14:00, including breaks. Both are structured around interactive sessions, group work and presentations.
What topics are covered?
Programme 1: Intercultural Communications & Leadership
Covers communication across cultures, leadership strategies, stakeholder management, collaboration, change management and effective decision-making.
Programme 2: Marketing & Personal Branding
Focuses on the digital economy, digital platforms and cultures, marketing tools and techniques, brand communication, digital consumer behaviour and ethics in digital marketing.
Can the experience be extended further?
Yes. Students may choose to add a one-week extension at ITM College in Bad Vöslau, Austria. This includes academic sessions in hospitality and tourism management, international business communication and leadership in the hospitality industry, plus excursions to Vienna and other tourism destinations.
Extension dates are:
27 July – 3 August (for Programme 1 participants)
10 – 17 August (for Programme 2 participants)
The Austria extension is only available to those enrolled in one of Wittenborg’s Summer School programmes.
