Summer School Teaching Staff - Erasmus+ Staff Mobility

Are you a passionate trainer/lecturer who actively engages students in your class? Are you excited to gain more teaching experience abroad by teaching high school and university students on summer courses? Are you interested in combining teaching activities during the summer with exploring the Netherlands?

We are looking for enthusiastic lecturers in the areas of Intercultural Communications, (Personal) Branding, Marketing and Leadership to teach in our Summer School programme

This engagement is part of Erasmus+ Staff Mobility.

Details:

  • Mobility period: July – August 2024
  • Duration of mobility: 5 days (excluding travel days)
  • Minimum teaching hours per stay: 15 hours (3 hours per day)
  • Classes take place from Monday to Friday from 09:00 to 14:00, with short coffee breaks and a lunch break in between, leaving you time to explore the Netherlands.

Inter-cultural communication & leadership course July 14 – July 26, 2024

Marketing & personal branding course July 28 – August 9, 2024

  • Marketing (Week 1)
  • Personal branding (Week 2)

*Note: The delivery of the summer school courses is subject to sufficient participants and will be confirmed 4 weeks prior to the start.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 1 year of teaching experience at an HEI and completed university studies (master's degree or equivalent).
  • Track record of training & interactive workshop delivery.
  • A valid Erasmus+ Inter-Institutional Agreement between Wittenborg and your institution.
  • You are nominated by your home university and will receive the grant to participate in teaching mobility. Your home university is responsible for the nomination of its staff for a mobility period abroad. You will need a nomination letter from your home university and this letter needs to be uploaded with your online application.

Procedure:

  • Interested candidates can apply via the application form to express their interest in participating in staff mobility, and send their supporting documents to hrm@wittenborg.eu.

  • Pre-selected candidates will be invited to an interview, and upon successful selection will be issued with an acceptance letter along with a mobility agreement signed by Wittenborg.
  • If the Inter-Institutional Agreement is absent, the candidate should facilitate the signing by the sending institution. 

Visa support & Accommodation:

  • Acceptance letter issued from Wittenborg can be used in the visa application for non-EU applicants.
  • Accommodation is available for incoming guests from Erasmus+ partner institutions on our Apeldoorn Campus in one of our brand-new studios in the city centre of Apeldoorn.

Deadlines:

  • Staff who are interested in an incoming Erasmus+ Mobility Programme teaching mobility to Wittenborg should enquire with their home institution if internal application deadlines exist or if a procedure of open calls is in place for selection to participate in a teaching mobility.
  • An inter-institutional agreement needs to be in place well in advance of the visit if this is not already the case. Therefore, we urge applicants to apply as soon as possible to ensure all documentation is in place.
  • Deadline for incoming staff from non-EU countries requiring entry visa is May 15; for EU residents – May 31.
