Online Training Workshop: Presentation & Rhetoric Skills

Time: 09.00-12.00, Friday 29th April 2022

Location: Online (via Zoom)

For whom: master students only (Max. 15 students)

What to learn:

  • How to deliver strong professional business presentations
  • How to use the power of presentation and rhetoric to convince your target audience

How to participate:

  • Maximal 15 participants
  • Each participant is required to make a 1-to-2-minute self-pitch video about something interesting about yourself or why you would like to attend this workshop, upload it here at your earliest time.
  • The first 15 students will be selected to attend the training.
  • The zoom meeting link will be sent only to the selected participants on 28th April before the workshop.

Presenter: Dr Alexander C. Bauer

Alexander is an Associate Professor at the Wittenborg University of Applied Sciences with locations in the Netherlands, Germany, and Austria. He is also an Associate Lecturer at the University of Applied Sciences BFI Vienna and at the University of Applied Sciences Wiener Neustadt.

He has more than a decade of international sales and management experience. Before he joined academia in 2014, he worked as an international sales manager, leading global sales teams, daily negotiations with customers and suppliers on a global level with business partners in North and South America, Europe, and Asia.

He studied business management with a major in marketing and sales in Germany and Estonia and holds a PhD. degree in international business management.

Besides being a lecturer, he is also a trainer for presentation skills, rhetoric, and sales. His current research focuses on the utilisation of sales competitions in sales training and sales education and the use of sales labs within sales training. He is a board member of the European Sales Competition Association (ESCA).
