We are looking for a dedicated Student Accommodation Cleaner (including limited campus support tasks) who will primarily focus on maintaining our student accommodation in Apeldoorn. You play an essential role in creating a comfortable and hygienic home for our international student community.

Working in student accommodation means contributing to a vibrant and internationally diverse living environment. The nature of student life requires flexibility and a proactive attitude in maintaining high standards of cleanliness throughout the year.

In addition to your main responsibilities in the student housing, you will provide limited daily support at our campus locations.

Tasks & Responsibilities

Student Accommodation (primary focus)
•    Cleaning of common areas in student accommodations, such as kitchens, bathrooms, toilets and hallways.
•    Regular deep cleaning of student rooms after check-out and preparing rooms for new student arrivals.
•    Monitoring general cleanliness and reporting maintenance issues where necessary.
•    Ensuring hygiene standards are consistently maintained according to established schedules and protocols, including in situations where additional cleaning may be required due to active student use of facilities.

Campus Support (limited, daily tasks)
•    Maintenance and refilling of coffee machines at campus locations.
•    Daily inspection round for touch-ups where needed (for example in hallways, toilets, coffee areas).
•    Occasional support with deep cleaning tasks or additional cleaning during holiday/vacation periods.

Requirements
•    Friendly, caring and service-oriented mindset.
•    Strong attention to detail combined with a practical and efficient approach to cleaning tasks, ensuring hygiene standards are maintained within agreed timeframes.
•    Professional, resilient and comfortable working in a dynamic student living environment.
•    Eligible to work in the Netherlands (valid residence/work permit).
•    Located in the Apeldoorn area.
•    Driving licence preferred.
•    Ability to communicate in English (preferred) and/or Dutch.
•    Ability to work independently, systematically and efficiently.
•    Physical stamina and ability to lift and move (heavy) objects as needed.
•    Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and equipment.
•    Proven experience in commercial or residential cleaning preferred.
