After finishing her Marketing & Communications studies, Sinem passed the exams at the Netherlands Association of Interpreters and Translators and became a certified translator of Dutch-Turkish and vice versa, specialised in the fields of legal, technical, medical and financial translations.
Before joining Wittenborg, she worked as recruitment coordinator for an employment agency, and was after that for many years responsible for planning & execution of localisation projects, marketing & communications, and certified translations at a translation & localisation company. At Wittenborg, where Sinem started working in 2005, she has held positions in the departments of International Office, HRM, Events and Marketing & Communications.
Currently, she fills the position of Senior Communications Manager, in which she is responsible for designing, writing, editing and proof-reading internal and external marketing & communications material, ensuring Wittenborg's brand identity, contributing to the design and content of the website, and also organising internal & external events and managing other marketing & communications-related projects.
Speaking four languages and having worked in multicultural and international environments for over 20 years makes Sinem a true intercultural communicator. Sinem is currently following a part-time MBA programme at Wittenborg.
