Wittenborg Attends Traditional Event ICEF Higher Education in London
School Seizes Opportunities to Network and Start New Partnerships
From 23 to 25 September, Wittenborg participated in ICEF Higher Education, one of the most important networking events in the international education industry. Held at the luxurious InterContinental London - The O2, the event brought together over 200 education agents and consultants, along with 150 institutions from more than 90 countries.
The activities provided attendees with opportunities to expand their knowledge while connecting with peers, key government representatives, distinguished experts and pre-screened education agents, helping to shape the future of higher education in an international context.
Wittenborg was represented by its president Peter Birdsall, Regional Admissions Manager Eunice Cheung and Recruitment & Sales Representative Michael Sheppard. Over the course of two days, the school’s representatives participated in approximately 40 one-to-one meetings with agents. This allowed Wittenborg to strengthen existing collaborations, initiate new partnerships and seize other valuable networking opportunities.
According to Cheung, speaking with agents reveals that the Netherlands needs to be better promoted to enhance its international recognition as a study destination. “Agents play a key role in enabling students to explore the educational opportunities in the Netherlands by expanding their knowledge of Dutch education and culture. Their efforts are highly appreciated, and we hope more international students will discover the beauty of studying and living in the Netherlands.”
The Regional Admissions Manager adds that London is an ideal city to host an event of this magnitude and importance, due to its international character and its status as a global hub for business, education and culture.
Wittenborg president Peter Birdsall emphasises that initiatives like ICEF Higher Education are aligned with the school’s pillars of internationalisation and diversity. “Networking, establishing new partnerships and learning from other institutions and professionals are vital practices for Wittenborg. We strive to be at the industry’s forefront, offering our students what’s best in terms of international business education, and to do that we need to innovate and improve constantly.”
