Vajihealsadat Shojaei, PhD, Assistant Professor of Applied Sciences, has a strong international background in academia and industry. She holds a PhD in International Marketing, an MBA, and a bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering. With over ten years of experience in higher education, she teaches a range of business, management and research-related modules, with a focus on marketing, and supervises undergraduate and postgraduate research projects across various business disciplines. 

Alongside her academic role, Vajihe is an active marketing consultant and the founder of Marketery, a consultancy supporting start-ups and SMEs, working on marketing strategy, digital campaign development, branding, customer acquisition and investor-focused business plans. Her industry experience spans diverse sectors, including edtech, transport, petrochemicals and AI-powered platforms. She bridges theory with practice, integrating real-world case studies, campaign analysis and consultancy-based learning to foster critical thinking and practical skills among students. 

Shojaei is also an active researcher, focusing on marketing innovation, digital marketing and consumer behaviour, with an emphasis on how businesses can leverage technology and customer insights to create meaningful engagement. She is multilingual, proficient in analytical and marketing platforms, and committed to preparing students for success in a fast-changing global business environment.
