Meet Gibson Odide

With a rare blend of technical expertise and strategic insight, Gibson Odide is ready to drive analytics-led solutions in fast-moving organisations. Gibson has recently completed his Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Data Analytics at Wittenborg. 

Originally from Nigeria, he also earned a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and Management from Wisconsin International University College in Ghana. Gibson chose Wittenborg’s MBA to bridge his technical skills with business strategy. “The practical, industry-aligned curriculum and the Netherlands’ innovative ecosystem perfectly matched my goal to lead analytics-driven business transformations,” he explains. 

At Wittenborg, Gibson honed a versatile skill set, including advanced data analysis and visualisation, database architecture and full-stack web development. He mastered tools such as Python, R, SQL, Tableau and Power BI, and how to apply them to solve real-world problems like market segmentation and risk assessment. Combined with his experience in PHP/Laravel development, Gibson can build robust, data-informed web applications, optimise legacy code and design dynamic, high-performance user interfaces. 

Gibson stands out as an analytically curious, resourceful, adaptable and collaborative professional. He approaches new challenges with diligence and a rapid learning mindset. 

Gibson is currently seeking opportunities as a PHP/Laravel Developer or Full-Stack Engineer, where he can integrate backend expertise with data-driven insights. His long-term ambition is to become a Technical Architect or Solutions Engineer, designing systems that deliver measurable business impact.
