Meet Emna Jellali

Emna Jellali is a student from Tunisia pursuing an MBM in Finance at Wittenborg. With a master's degree in Physics specialising in Nanotechnology, she brings a strong analytical background and a growing passion for finance operations, financial analysis and data-driven decision-making.

After completing her studies in Tunisia, Emna chose Wittenborg because of its practical and international approach to learning, as well as its strong industry connections. She was also attracted to the Netherlands' innovative business environment and the opportunity to gain international work experience while completing her degree.

During her studies, Emna has built on her analytical strengths by developing expertise in finance, data analysis and business operations. Her background in Physics helped her develop strong quantitative, research and problem-solving skills, which she now applies to financial and business challenges.

Alongside her studies, Emna has gained practical experience through several internships. With her work as a Finance Operations & Business Development Intern at Sun Enterprises B.V., she supports finance operations through ERP-based invoicing, payment tracking and transaction management. Her responsibilities include maintaining financial records, processing invoices and credit notes, supporting inventory planning and ensuring accurate business documentation.

Prior to this, she completed a Sales & Business Development Internship at Equilinq, where she conducted B2B outreach across European markets, performed market research and managed lead generation activities using HubSpot CRM. She also completed a Research Internship at the Faculty of Sciences of Sfax, where she analysed datasets using Excel and statistical methods, producing reports and presentations that supported data-driven decision-making.

Emna is fluent in Arabic, English and French and is currently improving her Dutch language skills. She continues to expand her expertise through certifications such as Financial Statement Analysis using Microsoft Excel and Google Analytics, while maintaining a strong interest in financial reporting, business analytics and operational efficiency.

Looking ahead, Emna hopes to build her career in the Netherlands within finance, financial analysis, business analytics or data-focused roles. She is particularly interested in positions where she can combine her analytical mindset, financial knowledge and technical skills to help organisations make informed business decisions and drive performance.
