Meet Dolly Gulati

With more than eight years of international experience in IT, Dolly Gulati is ready to bring her technical expertise and collaborative spirit to the Dutch job market. Originally from India, she is currently completing her MBA (Master of Business Administration) in Applied Information and Communication Technology at Wittenborg University of Applied Sciences.
Before joining Wittenborg, Dolly earned a bachelor’s degree from Delhi University and a master’s from Pt. Ravishankar Shukla University in 2015. Since then, she has worked in roles such as Application Support Specialist, System Administrator and Service Manager.
“I’ve worked both in offshore and onshore environments, including a year at ING Bank in the Netherlands,” she says. “That gave me strong exposure to global teams and international collaboration.”
Dolly was drawn to Wittenborg for its practical, industry-focused education and to the Netherlands for its reputation in innovation and digital excellence. “The thriving start-up ecosystem and international business environment offer unique opportunities,” she says.
Through the Applied ICT programme, she is further developing her technical and strategic IT skills in areas such as enterprise architecture, risk and compliance and digital transformation. “Wittenborg helped me bridge the gap between technical expertise and strategic thinking,” she explains. “The international setting also improved my cross-cultural communication and teamwork.”
In her previous roles at companies like Cognizant, NAB and BSI Financial, Dolly built strong problem-solving and stakeholder management skills. She is proficient in tools such as ServiceNow, Jenkins, Jira and Camunda, and has supported business-critical applications in the financial sector.
A quick learner, she recalls joining a project where she had to support new systems with little time for training. “Within weeks, I was supporting incidents independently and suggesting automation improvements,” she says.
Currently open to freelance or contract-based roles in the Netherlands, Dolly is eager to apply her experience in IT operations and system support while completing her studies.
Her friends describe her as reliable, adaptable and focused. “I’m the one they turn to when they need practical advice or help solving a problem,” she shares.
