Learning Resources at Wittenborg
Wittenborg provides students with access to a range of learning resources that support study, research and academic development. Through Wittenborg Online, library services, e-books and digital learning tools, students can access course materials and study information throughout their programme.
Wittenborg Online and E-Learning
Wittenborg Online is the school's online learning environment and an important source of study information. Students can access course information, module guides, assignments, timetables, attendance information, grades, progress reports, news and forums through the platform. Students are also expected to enrol on their courses and stay informed about curriculum updates through Wittenborg Online.
Designed for both campus-based and distance learning students, the system provides access to learning materials, tests, examinations, assignments and study resources, helping students stay connected to their studies wherever they are.
Course Materials and Library Resources
Each module is supported by core texts, recommended reading and academic journal papers that are aligned with the module content, aims and objectives. Module guides, course content, learning activities and lesson presentations are available through Wittenborg Online. Required software, including software such as SPSS, is also made available where relevant.
Students can make use of Wittenborg's reference library in the Spoorstraat building in Apeldoorn, where books can be borrowed and quiet study space is available. Students also have access to local academic library services beyond Wittenborg.
E-Books and Education Support Modules
Digital learning resources are available through Perlego, EBSCO and Wiley, providing access to e-books, academic databases and online publications. Information on accessing these resources is available through Wittenborg Online.
All students are entitled to follow Education Support Modules, which provide additional teaching and learning support where needed. Current modules include IT and Office Software Automation and the Work Experience Preparation Module. Students may follow these modules in full or in part, depending on their learning needs.
