High Engagement Marks International Education Fair in Tbilisi

Tbilisi Fair Highlights Growing Demand for International Study Opportunities
More than 600 students attended the International Education Fair in Tbilisi on 19 April, showing clear enthusiasm for studying abroad. The event welcomed high school students, undergraduate applicants and prospective international students exploring opportunities across Europe and beyond.
Organised by Edu-Guide, the fair provided students with guidance on study destinations, programmes and admission requirements, while giving institutions the chance to connect directly with prospective applicants.
Maulik Barot from Wittenborg's Admissions & Sales Department described the atmosphere as highly engaging, with students coming prepared and eager to learn more.
“What I enjoyed most was the high level of student engagement and curiosity. Georgian students were very motivated, well-prepared and actively asked detailed questions about programmes, mobility options and scholarships,” Barot said.
Interest in studying in the Netherlands stood out throughout the event. Summer school programmes were also especially popular, with all brochures taken early in the day.
Overall, the event delivered a very positive outcome, reflecting both the ambition of Georgian students and the growing appeal of international education opportunities.
Wittenborg attends various events throughout the year. For more information on how to meet the team, visit the events page.
