Guest Lecture at Wittenborg, by Jan Lust

Wittenborg's MBM students are invited to a special guest lecture, where Jan Lust will share key insights from his book and discuss the underlying factors shaping economic development in Peru. This is a unique opportunity to engage directly with an expert in Development Studies and Economics.

Jan Lust, PhD in Development Studies and Master’s in Economics, brings extensive experience in both research and teaching. He has served on the Board of Directors of the Research Centre at Ricardo Palma University and coordinated research at its School of Global Business Administration. He has taught economics to bachelor’s students and research methods to master’s and doctoral students. His latest book, Underdevelopment in Peru: A Profile of Peripheral Capitalism (2023), explores the structural and persistent nature of underdevelopment in Peru.
