Wittenborg University of Applied Sciences has taken the first step towards gaining accreditation from the prestigious Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB International) – an American professional organization focused on advancing business education.

WUP 25/04/2014 - a FIBAA Accreditation Auditing Panel return to Wittenborg for the new MBA - As part of accrediting a new Master program at Wittenborg University, the i-MBA (International Master of Business Administration), current students and graduates of the university were recently interviewed by a panel of experts in quality assurance. Representatives from FIBAA - a European internationally-oriented agency for quality assurance and development in higher education who is currently reviewing the proposed Wittenborg MBA - visited Wittenborg on Friday.
WUP 3/3/2014 – Speaking at Wittenborg - Dutch Minister of Education is hopeful that the Dutch economy will soon recover to give international students the chance to compete on the Netherlands job market. The Dutch minister of education, culture and science, Jet Bussemaker, took a keen interest in students at Wittenborg University when she visited Apeldoorn on Monday ahead of the local government elections that takes place in two weeks.
WUP 13/2/2014 - Wittenborg University does well in a National Commission survey of information provision on its website. With some recommendations it has updated its web pages regarding the quality systems. The National Commission for International students in the Netherlands is responsible for the governance of the Code of Conduct that 76 Dutch higher education institutions are signatories to. The Code of Conduct regulates aspects such as the type of programmes that can be offered to international students, the quality of the information provision and the levels of English of students accepted onto programmes.
Meeting the criteria for accreditation is generally described in a policy document of the accrediting institution (FIBAA, NVAO, QAA, etc) for each programme, coupled with an assessment of the institution and reflected in a Self-Assessment report, which is the hand guide to an accreditation process, and the document on which accreditation panels and authorities make their judgment of a particular programme or institution. The accreditation panel produces a report which describes if an institution has met or not met the accreditation assessment criteria.
The joint MSc Degree Programmes are Validated by the University of Brighton, under its own accreditation system. The UK QAA carries out University institution accreditation in the UK for the government.
