Dr Georg Petritsch, Lecturer, is the Managing Director at Accenture Technology, providing support to banking and insurance clients across Europe in their cloud-based transformations. Georg specialises in digital and IT strategy development. His particular expertise lies in the areas of IT governance frameworks, IT architecture, IT shared services, and IT efficiency improvement. Georg has worked in management consulting since 1999 with an initial focus on chemical, oil & gas, and utility companies, shifting towards financial services since 2005. Before entering the consulting industry, Georg was a research assistant at the Institute for Process Engineering at the University of Hannover, Germany. He holds a Diploma and a PhD in Chemical Engineering from the same university.
