What is Erasmus+ Student Mobility?
Erasmus+ Student Mobility is part of the European Union's Erasmus+ Programme, which supports education, training, youth, and sport across Europe. This opportunity allows you to study or complete a traineeship abroad with both financial and academic support during your degree programme.
Types of Mobility
Study Mobility (Learning Abroad)
Attend courses at a partner university abroad, with credits recognised by Wittenborg upon your return.
Traineeship Mobility (Internship Abroad)
Gain practical experience in companies, research centers, NGOs, or other organisations internationally.
Combined Mobility
Both study and traineeship can be combined in a single mobility period.
Blended Mobility
Combines a physical period abroad with a virtual (online) component.
Duration
| Type of Mobility | Minimum Duration | Maximum Duration |
| Study Mobility | 2 months (or one academic term) | 12 months per study cycle |
| Traineeship Mobility | 2 months | 12 months per study cycle |
| Blended Mobility (Short-Term) | 5–30 days (physical component) + online component | - |
Important: Each student can benefit from up to 12 months of mobility per study cycle. Physical mobility must take place in a different country from your country of residence or study.
Financial Support
Erasmus+ provides a financial grant to help cover travel and living costs during your mobility period.
The grant amount depends on:
- Host country (cost of living)
- Type of mobility (study or traineeship)
- Duration of the mobility
Please note:
- The grant is a contribution toward your expenses, not full funding
- Students from disadvantaged backgrounds may receive additional top-up support
- Blended mobility participants receive grants only for the physical period
