Shonali Rodrigues has over twenty years’ experience in the management and coordination of national and international large-scale events. This includes over seven years involvement in the Political Party Conferences, as well as major sporting events such as the Olympics, Paralympics, Commonwealth and Asian Games; and large scale conferences and exhibitions such as the EBRD (European Bank for Reconstruction and Development) Annual Meeting and DRUPA.
Specialising in client and relationship management, sponsorship and fundraising, Shonali has worked with a wide variety of stakeholders in the public and private sectors, gaining board and strategic level experience in small to medium enterprises.
Shonali was an award-winning student at the University of Brighton, where she gained a distinction in her Masters in Tourism and Social Anthropology.
Shonali works part-time as Director of Development for MIMN (Meetings Industry Meeting Needs), part-time at the Universities of Brighton and Chichester and is involved in consultancy work as the Managing Director of Creativents. In her spare time, she is Vice-Chair of the Tourism Alliance in Brighton and Hove and involved with projects for her local theatre and TV station.
