Project Weeks

At least 6 times a year, Wittenborg’s Bachelor students are challenged during project weeks, by real life, real time projects, organized by Wittenborg in cooperation with various companies and organisations, both locally, nationally and sometimes internationally.

During Project Weeks, students are formed into groups and given a project topic during an introduction session by the project teacher, sometimes accompanied by a representative from a company or organisation that has helped to instigate the project.

All students within a year of a particular programme, complete the same project in teams with the following basic format:

  • Students form project teams with a clear role division
  • Students evaluate themselves within the team undertaking prescribed roles
  • Students produce a final report, in the form of a proposal, that can be presented to external investors
  • Students are able to present their final report, in a clear and organised pitch

Become a partner?

For companies, the Project Week is an excellent opportunity to tap into the knowledge and creativity of our international student population.  Wittenborg University of Applied Sciences is always looking for new partners with whom it can organise a fulfilling project, so if your company can offer a real-life case that you would like to see solved, Wittenborg students can help you. These projects can be in a wide range of areas, such as business plans, marketing cases, customer research, branding, logistics management, sales and business to business. As a cooperating company, you are asked to dedicate some time to the introduction of the project, a company visit and, if possible, attend the presentations. Some organisations like to award the best team with a small prize, though, this is optional.

If you consider participating or would like to have more information, please contact us by calling 088-6672 688 or email to info@wittenborg.eu. You can also read our brochure titled 'Working and Collaborating with Wittenborg and its Students'.
