Peter Saes, MA, graduated from the University of Amsterdam, the Netherlands, with an MA Ling, from the University of Nottingham, UK, with an MA Eng. Studies, and from Utrecht University of Applied Sciences (TTC), the Netherlands. Peter has two businesses of his own in language acquisition and services and develops language learning courses. He also has an army background as a paramedic instructor.
Peter started his army career at the medical services of the Royal Netherlands Army. As an officer, he served in project management, as Head of Operational Management at the Army Logistics Training Centre and setting up and assessing the Administrative Organisation for Armed Forces GPs, dentists, physiotherapists and the medical insurance services.
After his army career, he started two businesses, SLS and Apeldoorns Talencentrum, which he manages with a partner and where 35 freelance language teachers of 17 languages are employed. At Wittenborg, Peter lectures the intensive Dutch Languages courses as well as the Dutch as a second language modules. As an author, he also has written several text and work books.
