Wittenborg offers students from India the chance to study on one of its master's programmes through the OTS Scholarship programme.

For the first time, Wittenborg will participate in the Orange Tulip Scholarship (OTS) Programme together with Nuffic NESO India. Students can choose to follow either the MSc or the MBA programmes when applying for the OTS scholarship.

The Master of Science programmes are offered jointly with the University of Brighton’s faculty, the School of Service and Sport Management, and successful students are awarded a UK MSc (Master of Science Degree) and a PGDip (Postgraduate Diploma) from Wittenborg:

  • The programme is fully taught in the Netherlands at Wittenborg’s campus in the Netherlands, by a mixture of professors from the University of Brighton and Wittenborg University.
  • Students who study on the Master of International Science programmes can make full use of the resources of Wittenborg and the University of Brighton, including online research facilities. If students wish to conduct their Final Project (from April to September) in the UK, this can be arranged.

The MBA programmes currently has 11 specialisations and are taught at all three campuses: Apeldoorn (NL), Amsterdam (NL - as from Sept 2018) and Vienna (AT - as from Sept 2018). Students applying for this programme need to have at least a bachelor’s degree, along with 3 years of professional work experience after obtaining the bachelor’s degree. Additionally, students need to provide an IELTS certificate with an overall score of 6.5, or TOEFL equivalent. For an overview of all MSc and MBA programmes that participate in the OTS Scholarship programme, please have a look here.

Orange Tulip Scholarship Fund - India- OTS Scholarship offer

Wittenborg University of Applied Sciences will provide 8 scholarships of 7,500 euro each for the Master programmes.
The scholarships are a one-time reduction of tuition fees for the duration of the master's programmes.

Admission requirements:


  • Your nationality is Indian.
  • You have never studied in the Netherlands before
  • IELTS or TOEFL: IELTS 6.5 or TOEFL equivalent. (Click here for an overview of the equivalent scores, Wittenborg's TOEFL code is 4889)
  • GRE Requirement: Not applicable
  • GMAT Requirement: Not applicable
  • GPA Requirement: Not applicable
  • Highest educational background : Bachelor's degree in a business-related field   
  • Work experience: Work experience is not required for enrolment into the MSc programmes. For the MBA programmes, a minimum of 3 years of work experience is a mandatory requirement for enrolment into the MBA programmes.

The deadline for applying for the OTS Scholarship is April 1st. In order to apply for this scholarship, please send your OTS application form, along with your Wittenborg application documents, to admission@wittenborg.eu. Additionally, please do not forget to inform NESO India of your application for the OTS scholarship. Currently the deadline for applying for OTS has been extended to June 1st 2020 to accommodate any applicants who might not be able to apply on time due to Covid-19.
