Maryam Sharifi, PhD, holds a PhD in Management Studies from the University of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria (Spain), as well as a Master of Industrial Engineering from INP Grenoble (France) and an MBA from Amirkabir University of Technology Tehran (Iran). Maryam’s expertise is in the area of Organizational Behaviour and Human Resource Management.
For her PhD studies, Maryam investigated the consequences of physical environment on employees’ behaviour in open-plan offices. Her research interests include working on cyberloafing, deviant behaviours, counterproductive workplace behaviours and the physical work environment.
At Wittenborg, Maryam teaches in the MBM and undergraduate programmes. Her modules include Organisation, Development & Change Management, Managing Organisation and Enterprise Diagnostics & Evaluation. Next to her activity at Wittenborg, she is involved in python programming and working on Machine Learning (ML).
