Lijie Zheng is a social scientist originally from Beijing, China. She has an academic background in Pedagogy, Public Management, Social Policy, Non-profit management, Educational Anthropology, and Psychology. She will soon receive her Ph.D. in Pedagogy at Utrecht University.
Lijie teaches the module of Statistics and International Trade in IBA programmes at Wittenborg. Given Lijie’s research and project experiences about many different ethnic minorities both in China and in the Netherlands, she believes that the understanding of our increasingly integrated and diverse world, on both economic and cultural level, is crucial to an organization’s success.
Lijie has an expertise in research methodology, both on quantitative and qualitative approaches. She is also eager to explore new research methods and perspectives to enlarge her scope and to sharpen her skills in analysing more complex situations. Currently, Lijie is extensively studying and utilizing the Qualitative Comparative Analysis (QCA) and (Ego-) Network Analysis in the field of education and public management.More information can be found on her LinkedIn.
