Anna Bos-Nehles is an assistant professor in the field of Human Resource Management at the University of Twente. Her main research interest lies in the role of line managers towards HRM implementation effectiveness and their effect on innovative employee behavior. In the first sub-topic she focuses on how line managers implement HR policies and practices at the operational level and in the second sub-topic her interest lies in the way line managers can shape the innovative behavior of employees in all areas of the organization. She has conducted research with and provided advice to medium-sized and large organizations in the Netherlands and Germany, such as Stork Fokker, Unilever, Shell, Philips Medical Systems, TNT, Plegt-Vos, Strukton Worksphere, MST and Thales.
The research of Anna Bos-Nehles focuses on the HR role and of line managers and the implementation of HRM. Her research has been published in peer-reviewed international outlets such as Human Resource Management, Baltic Journal of Management and Management Revue or in peer-reviewed books with an international audience such as HRM and Performance: Achievements and Challenges or the Handbook of Research on Comparative Human Resource Management. She currently guest edits a special issue in the European Journal of International Management about HRM implementation effectiveness in Europe.
