I am an economist by training and an experienced business researcher/consultant. I obtained my PhD in economics (labour studies) at the Free University of Amsterdam (VU). The last twenty years of my working life had a special emphasis on corporate sustainability in research, consultancy, publications and education. By working with Wittenborg University, I envisage to develop new knowledge in areas such strategy and sustainability by means of research, publications and lectures.
After obtaining an MSc in economics, I worked as an economics teacher in Sierra Leone for a couple of years. This experience has caused me to be constantly involved in various development projects (mostly with small farmers). After my PhD studies I worked with institutes such as TNO, EIM and the Netherlands’ central statistics bureau as department manager and senior project manager. Since a couple of years I have been working with Wittenborg University as lecturer and programme developer.
